Bard vs ChatGPT (as of today)
Bard is now open to the public. Here's 5 things that Bard can do that ChatGPT cannot
Hurrah. Bard is now open to the public. It’s accessible for free here: https://bard.google.com/
It’s completely free to use.
It’s connected directly to Google.
Will it kill ChatGPT? Let’s go through five killer features where I think Bard is already winning.
1. The elephant in the room, the year 2021.
We all know at this stage that ChatGPT has limited world knowledge beyond 2021. Yes, ChatGPT is still living in a Covid-riddled world. Google’s Bard on the other hand has up to date knowledge up to today (seemingly).
Let’s test a prompt. What is the fastest growing company in 2023. The results are good!
2. Bard is directly connected to Google. And will give you an option to search further about your prompt once the result has been given.

4. It can explain a piece of code.
In this prompt, I’ve given bard a piece of random blockchain related code from the internet. This is what Bard says about it:
5. It’s much much easier to export the response.
If you use ChatGPT on mobile, you’ll understand the pain.
And a bonus: The response comes in multiple drafts.
This is just the beginning of a huge leap in the way we work. I’m excited to exploit this technology as much as possible to see how it can help with innovation across many domains.
