So here's a short one on why I think AI won't replace creatives, but make them more valuable than ever.

When streaming was going to kill movie theatres? Then Top Gun: Maverick made $1.5 billion.

When the internet was supposed to kill the postal service? Now they're delivering more packages than ever.

Now everyone's saying AI will replace the creative class: the developers, designers, writers, artists, musicians, and architects who shape our digital world.

But they're missing the same lesson: Technology doesn't destroy. It transforms.

Here's why AI won't replace creatives, but make them more valuable than ever:

1/ More automation means more creative freedom

AI will handle the repetitive tasks - basic coding, initial sketches, rough drafts - but companies still need human creativity to design experiences, debug complex systems, and integrate AI thoughtfully. Just like Photoshop didn't replace designers, AI won't replace creators.

2/ High-level thinking will become critical

AI can generate code, images, or text, but it can't architect complex systems, understand human emotions, or make nuanced artistic decisions. The best creatives will focus on vision and strategy, not technical execution.

3/ AI-augmented creators will thrive

AI is a tool, like the printing press or digital camera. The creators who use it to amplify their vision and tackle bigger creative challenges will outperform those who don't. Innovation and artistic judgment will be the new differentiators.

4/ New creative roles will emerge

Expect to see "AI Art Directors," "Neural Network Composers," and "Digital Experience Architects." The creative industries won't shrink - they'll evolve and expand.

5/ The hardest problems remain deeply human

Even if AI can generate flawless code or beautiful images, we still need human creators to understand cultural context, emotional resonance, and real-world impact. Empathy and creative vision will be irreplaceable.

AI isn't replacing the creative class. It's amplifying their capabilities.

Those who embrace this transformation will be more valuable than ever.
